I have several of the changes to the blog completed. I added programming the the shoutout box that should stop the spammers – it has worked so far… I also added a “Google AdSense” box to the upper right hand corner – it is an interesting concept because Google reads my blog and then attempts to show ads on my site that correspond to what I’m writing about. It will be interesting to see what it comes up with – and it does not hurt that I get paid (very little) for the number of times people click on the ad links… If I get 45,000 clicks then I earn around $4.00. Some of the other items on the blog have been moved around to help balance the look and feel of the site….
It has been cold and windy – this morning it was 23 degrees out while I was walking to work. The closer I got to Citicorp – the windier it got… During my lunch hour I went to Mailboxes Etc to fax some documents and did not have much time left to find something to eat. I went to a deli and purchased a 12 pack of veggie sushi ($6.00) and enjoyed it at my desk….
American Idol was interesting to watch – they did not waste much time getting rid of 3/4 of the contestants.. My favorites so far are:
Paris Bennett – 17 year old who can belt out the tunes
Taylor Hicks – older guy who kinda sounds like Elvis…
Garrett Johnson – The little cowboy with a nice smile and strange voice – this boy can’t be straight
Chris Daugherty – nice rich voice
So far my pick for the winner of American Idol is Paris Bennett – I will have to come back to this posting at the end of the contest and see if I was right…. I doubt it…
Prince was a bad kitty today – he keep knocking over the little garbage can in the bathroom and goes through it… John disciplined him a bit so now he is not getting very close to him.. hard to do in our trailer…
