Howdy from a warm, sunny Arlington, TX… the skies are clear and the temps in the upper 80’s. Tomorrow it is expected to get over 90 out…

I had a good day at work. I’m still working on lots of little projects that have been piling up waiting for a developer to come in… This week I have been working on the small stuff more then the larger ones… it is fine because the smaller projects have been easy and fun to work on….

Tonight I made a trip to the Arlington public library to return some books. I thought they were due today – but I was wrong and they were 1 day late – so I paid my $1.00 fine… The Arlington Library has a really nice collection of computer books – they are mostly current and there’s lots of them… probably the best selection I’ve come across…. I also picked up the next book in “The Cat Who” series – “The Cat Who Went Into The Closet” – I’m looking forward to reading it and seeing what adventures Quill, KoKo and Yum Yum get into…

Last night John was talking to a friend on the phone and was describing a lady he meet here in Texas to one of the characters in the Movie/Series Sordid Lives – it made me giggle because I didn’t think John really paid attention to the series when it was on Logo… Tomorrow I will probably catch him comparing some guy he works with one of the characters in the King of the Hill.

On he way home one of the digital bill boards had a picture of a golfer with the slogan “Phil the Heat”… At first I didn’t think the slogan rhymed at all, but then if you pronounce Phil with a southern drawl (“Ph-eee-l”) then it does… I guess the advertisement is not geared towards Yankees….

John is all tired out this evening… he spent most of the day mowing again. The park looks nice, but it seems like the grass grows as fast as he can cut it… I hope he gets used to the heat…

American Idol just came on – looking forward to it becasue it is Disco night… Hope someone does Don’t Leave Me This Way by Thelma Houston… perhaps Adam will…
