I’m a Shepard. At work they call the process of getting code changes through the approval and move process “Sheparding” – so this makes me a Shepard. It’s my own geeky twisted version of Brokeback Mountain – without sheep and sex in a tent…. I didn’t need to stay late this evening, but I didn’t get home until 6:00pm due to stopping for gas and slow traffic.
Tonight we are watching American Idol/Idol gives back. I’m not sure what I expected the show to be like, but I’m finding it really strange to watch. So they took the Jerry Lewis telethon and combined it with Star search…. The show just seems like a big mess to me, but if they are actually raising money that will actually make it to the people in need they are show casing then I guess it is a good thing…. Taking two hours to announce who is voted off the show is quickly getting old…..
The weather is starting to take a turn for the worse – it got cloudy and humid this afternoon. The forecast says there is a 30% chance of thunderstorms tomorrow… yuck….
Not much else going on…. going to finish watching Idol and see who gets voted off…. My guess is that either no one is voted off (big surprise ending) or it will be LaKisha…. time will tell.
Here is my next camping tip:
6. Pets – make sure you clean up after them. Keep pets away from areas where food is being prepared or consumed.
